Summary: "An Introduction to our times"
I mean, if our times started in the 18th Century, as they did. The Law of Correspondence that makes the initial core of this book seemed to me as a broader version of Marxist Historic Materialism, nothing more. But Mr. Cazadero takes you on a very interesting tour of the societies that preceded our capitalism, especially stopping by the Middle Ages and its socioeconomic conditions. Immanentism and Transcendentalism are the main concepts mixed with the material production conditions, and some authors of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance are presented. I really liked the anecdotes that abound in the book, about peasants and wage inflation in England, Columbus trying to escape from the course to the Mountain of Eden, and many others. The XIV Century looks now for me as a fascinating period, thanks to this book.
